Wire EDM services
Five Fanuc Robocut Wire EDMs, accuracy down to 2 microns (.00008 in) and radii as small as .001 in. One of the largest Wire EDM job shops in the Northeastern United States.

How it cuts
An electrically charged wire vaporizes the material instead of cutting it, so hardened and heat resistant alloys cut as cleanly as soft ones, with no cutting force on the part.
Size and accuracy
Our largest Robocut takes workpieces up to 21.5 × 14.7 in and 16 in thick. Accuracy runs to 2 microns, with internal radii down to .001 in.
Materials
Titanium, carbide, Waspaloy, Hastelloy, Kovar and Inconel, the alloys gas turbine, medical and defense work keep asking for.

Common questions
How accurate is your Wire EDM?
Down to 2 microns (.00008 in), with radii as small as .001 in.
What's the biggest part you can cut?
Up to 21.5 × 14.7 in of travel and 16 in thick on our largest Fanuc Robocut.
Can you cut hardened steel and superalloys?
Yes. Wire EDM doesn't care about hardness: titanium, carbide, Inconel, Hastelloy, Waspaloy and Kovar are routine.
