Clifton Park, NY · Wire EDM since 1983
Wire EDM and precision CNC machining
One of the largest Wire EDM job shops in the Northeast, with 5-axis milling, CNC turning, grinding and Zeiss CMM inspection under the same roof. Inconel, Hastelloy, titanium and carbide are routine.

One of the largest Wire EDM shops in the Northeast
AMT was an early adopter of Wire EDM in 1983. Today five Fanuc Robocuts cut parts to 2 microns, with radii as small as .001 in, in alloys that are hard to cut any other way.
Most of our production EDM work goes to medical imaging: parts used to calibrate MRI machines around the world, held to ±.0001 in on position and size.

Exotic alloys are the everyday job
Power generation has been part of our work since 1983: prototypes, fixtures and test equipment for steam, gas and wind turbines, jet engines and fuel cells. The test hardware often has to be more heat resistant than the part being tested.

Checked on a Zeiss CMM before it ships
The Zeiss Contura G2 scans thousands of points across a surface, so flatness, circularity and concentricity are measured, not sampled. Every job is tracked in E2 shop management software from order to delivery.
